enerix Control

Share data, allow control

enerix Control is an online service of enerix Franchise GmbH & Co. KG. Your SOLIO continuously sends its current readings to enerix. If you allow it, enerix can also specify that your battery does not discharge or that it charges from the grid.

BETA

The app is in a test phase (BETA). Functions and displays may still change.

At a glance

  • Your SOLIO sends the current values to enerix about every 5 seconds: grid, generation, state of charge and battery power.
  • With the On mode you allow enerix to override the charging and discharging of your battery. With Off, enerix only receives data.
  • enerix can specify two things: No discharge or Charge from grid.
  • You need an enerix account. There you get the address that you enter in the app.
  • The app can be installed once per system. You will find it in the App Center under Interfaces.

What enerix may control

DisplayWhat happens to your battery
On (no overwrite)enerix receives data but is not specifying anything at the moment. Your SOLIO controls the battery as usual.
No dischargeThe battery does not release any power. During this time your home is supplied by the solar system and the grid.
Charge from gridThe battery charges from the grid.
Offenerix only receives data and controls nothing.

Your SOLIO only implements enerix's specifications within safe limits:

  • Charging from the grid is only possible if Allow active charging from the grid is enabled for your system. The charging power depends on your grid connection and your battery, with a safety margin.
  • If you also use the Dynamic electricity tariff app, its specifications take priority in some situations.
  • If the connection to enerix is lost, any override ends. Your SOLIO then works completely normally again.
What an override means

While an override is active, enerix replaces the usual settings for charging and discharging your battery. This can differ from the behaviour you are used to. For example, electricity may be drawn from the grid even though your battery is sufficiently charged.

How to set up enerix Control

Get the address from enerix

In your enerix account, copy the address for data transfer. It ends with a code that starts with ?code=. Copy the complete address.

Open the app in the App Center

Open Your Energy Journey → AppCenter in the menu and select the enerix app under Interfaces. Click Install app.

Enter the details

Paste the address into the URL field. It is hidden like a password.

Confirm data sharing

Tick the consent box for data sharing. The app cannot be installed without this tick.

Install

Click Install app. From now on your SOLIO sends its values to enerix.

Switching the override on and off

After installation, enerix has its own view with the name of the app. There you see:

  • Condition: for example On, Off, No discharge or Charge from grid.
  • Overwrite mode: whether enerix is currently intervening (Overwrite active) or not (No overwrite).
  • Mode: with On you allow the override, with Off you switch it off. Apply the change with the round button with a tick that appears at the bottom.

Under History you can see for the selected period how long enerix overrode the battery, split into No discharge and Charge from grid, and how long no override was active.

Good to know

The system status shows “Data could not be transmitted”. Your SOLIO cannot reach enerix at the moment. Check the internet connection. If it is fine, enter the complete address from your enerix account again via Edit app.

enerix does not charge from the grid although this is displayed. Check that Allow active charging from the grid is enabled. Without this permission your SOLIO does not charge from the grid.

How do I end the connection to enerix? Set the mode to Off if you only want enerix to stop controlling. If you do not want to send any data at all, remove the app in the App Center with Remove app.

What is the difference from clever-PV? The clever-PV app only transfers data. enerix Control can also override your battery if you set the mode to On.
