Supported devices
Your SOLIO works with inverters, storage systems, charging stations, meters and heating devices from many manufacturers. Here you can see which devices they are and what your SOLIO can do with them.
The essentialsโ
- New devices are added through an app in the App Center. This is usually done by your installer.
- Some devices are controlled by your SOLIO, for example the charging station. Others are only displayed, so that you have all values in one place.
- Your installer checks before installation whether your exact model is suitable.
- Your device is not on the list? Many others can be integrated. Ask us.
PV invertersโ
The inverter turns the direct current from your solar modules into usable household electricity. Your SOLIO reads it and shows the generation in the portal. There is a dedicated app for these manufacturers:

Storage systemsโ
Your SOLIO controls your battery storage so that you use as much of your own electricity as possible. It works with storage systems and hybrid inverters from various manufacturers, for example:
- SMA Sunny Island with battery
- KOSTAL Plenticore with a connected battery
- Hybrid systems from GoodWe, Huawei and Sungrow
Whether your storage system is suitable depends on the exact model and its software. Your installer will check this before installation.
Charging stationsโ
Your SOLIO can charge your electric car preferably with solar power. There are two types of integration:
- Controlled: your SOLIO shows the values and controls charging, for example with surplus solar power.
- Display only: your SOLIO shows power and status but does not control the charging station.

"Beta" means the app is new and marked as such in the App Center. Everything about operating it is under Charging station.
Metersโ
Additional meters measure, for example, a second solar system or a large load such as a sauna, so that you can see these values in the portal too.

The App Center also has apps for meters from Siemens and Shelly. More under Generation and consumption meters.
If you need readings for billing, for example for tenant electricity, the meter must be approved for this (MID-certified). Your installer will then choose a suitable model.
Heatingโ
Use surplus solar power to heat water or your home: this saves electricity from the grid.

Switchingโ
Using relays and switchable sockets, your SOLIO can switch other devices on and off, such as a pump or a heating element.

Your device is not on the list?โ
Many other devices can be integrated, especially if they have an open interface. Ask your installer or email us at service@soltegra.io. Please include the manufacturer and the exact model name.
Frequently asked questionsโ
Do my devices need an internet connection? No. Your SOLIO talks to most devices directly on your home network. Only services such as Discovergy, whose values come from the internet, need a connection.
Can I connect several devices of the same type? Yes, for example two inverters or several charging stations. For several charging points there is Multi charging point management.
Can I add a device later? Yes. Your installer adds the new device via the App Center. It then appears in the portal, for example in the energy flow in the cockpit.
